10 - 13 June 2003. The Lawn Company Team were asked to host a Lawn Surgery in association with The Institute of Groundsmanship. Throughout the duration of the show, the TLC Team held practical demonstrations of lawn care techniques and equipment to large audiences. This has increased as a result of greater brand awareness of The Lawn Company through carefully targeted marketing within the Garden and Leisure Consumer market place. The one main factor is that a lot of the requests are as a result of web users typing in www.lawn.co.uk instead of using one of the keyword searches in the search engines. The use of the web site will undoubtedly increase in coming months.

The area includes a croquet lawn and formal lawn terraces and other lawns surrounding the property. Initial contract price is £60k for construction and a period of maintenance. The arrangement of seeds as they spiral around the flower head also demonstrates the Fibonacci sequence, the Italian mathematician’s series of numbers, each of which is the sum of the preceding two. TLC at RHS Chelsea Flower Show

May 2001 - Mike Seaton, MD of TLC appeared for a week on the Institute of Groundsmanship 'Lawn Clinic' stand. He was kept busy answering a wide selection of lawn care problems and was surprised how many 1000s of leaflets were distributed during the week. The high light was the last day when the plants are made available for sale. The Staff at Sloane Street Underground Station showed great humour as members of the public squeezed their prized purchases onto the trains - some not quite getting inside before the doors closed. We did have some exciting photos of Mike in action during the show, but felt that these would create a rush of fan mail that we could not cope with. Mike did comment that 'he did not notice anyone walking off with a lawn'
